We

network

differently

Connect was created by three Tucson business owners who wanted to bring a new concept to networking.

Bobbi Still, Affinity for Design, co-founder says,

“I wanted to belong to a networking group devoted to helping my company grow with other like-minded business owners. I visualized a networking atmosphere where individuals were being supported, not tracked for their performance in growing the group. That is why I am proud to say, Connect does not have a membership fee, rather, a marketing fee dedicated to marketing your business to others.”

I believe that an impactful agenda focused on relevant business topics and quality activities will attract other like-minded business owners. Together we will learn and grow!

Our last meeting

Elizabeth Lopez, with Elizabeth Lopez CPA

Today’s meeting was more fun that it should have been, considering the topic was TAXES. Elizabeth’s presentation covered some interesting deductions.

Some of the things we walked away knowing more about:

  • The ins and outs of claiming a home office
  • When claiming deductions can cost you
  • IRS no longer allows ”entertainment’ deduction
